Geographic numbers
Solwise Telephony has access to over 7 million telephone numbers, across 75% of exchanges in the UK, making us very unique in the industry.

Geographic numbers are standard numbers, similar to that of your own home phone number (e.g. 01234-123456). These are numbers which are not necessarily associated with a telephone line and can be routed to meet your requirements.

Unlike non-geographic numbers (e.g. 0845*, 0800*, 0870*), geographic numbers attract a one-off connection charge of £12, followed by an ongoing rental of £1.80/month. Connection and rental charges can vary depending on the quality of the number. For non-standard numbers, please contact us for a comprehensive quote.

Our numbers can be controlled via our web interface, where additional information such as call statistics and billing data can be found. Alternatively, changes to number routing plans can be submitted by emailing support@solwisetelephony.co.uk or by calling our customer support line.

Geographic numbers from Solwise Telephony are allocated and governed by Ofcom.
