Receive text messages
The Solwise Telephony inbound text messaging solution enables businesses to receive SMS messages from subscribers into an application.




How does it work?
You are given an inbound telephone number (or range of numbers depending on your requirements) and these numbers can be given out to your consumers or customers.  When a text message is sent to any of your inbound numbers, the data is captured by our gateway and stored electronically on our servers.  If our inbound solution is used in conjunction with our outbound gateway, then text messages can be sent from your inbound numbers, automatically forcing replies back to our servers for delivery to an application.

Inbound text messages can be viewed either through our public website, or they can be retrieved using our API.  For more information on integration with our messaging gateway, please click here.


How much does it cost?
Inbound text messaging is priced in a straight forward and easy to understand manner.  Numbers carry a one-off setup cost of £12 followed by an ongoing monthly rental of £6 each.  Included in this cost are the first one thousand inbound text messages, which are charged at 0.5p each thereafter.
