Send text messages
The transmission of text messages in any volume is sometimes referred to as bulk SMS.  This is essentially the delivery of text messages from an application to a subscriber's mobile handset.  Solwise Telephony transmits text messages using several hundred operators in hundreds of countries around the world.  Our messaging solutions are a reliable and cost-effective method of getting your information to consumers and partners.




So how do I send text messages?
There are a couple of options.  You can either send them directly from our public website or you can integrate with our messaging gateway.  Text messaging is such a large project that Solwise Telephony made the decision to split this part of the business into a separate division of the company, known as Go4Text.  The Go4Text website is open to the public and be found here.

Note:
Existing Solwise Telephony customers can subscribe using their account number, allowing them to pay for their text messages in arrears by invoice.

How much does it cost?
Unfortunately text messages are priced on volume.  The more you send, the cheaper they become.  This is due to the way network interconnect agreements work.  The more we send to the networks, the less they charge for delivery.  Sadly, this pricing structure is passed on down the chain.
