What is a voice ready ADSL network?

With IP telephony set to become the new communication standard, Solwise Telephony has put together a voice ready network, so you can take advantage of our infrastructure and have the right solution in place to carry your service.

Simply put, a voice ready ADSL network is one that enables you to pass voice traffic with quality equal to that of PSTN.  This is done by offering a quality of service (QoS) and implementing packet prioritisation for voice traffic.  We are also able to minimise jitter, which is a variation in timing or time of arrival, of the received signal.

How much does it cost?

Our voice ready network is a solution which would be tailored to your needs.  Prices would be negotiated based on number of connections and bandwidth requirements.  This solution is aimed at wholesale partners and is not something we would consider distributing on an end-user or individual basis.
